  1. Where can I download MyPhone+?

    MyPhone+ is available on Apple's iPhone App Store. You can downoad MyPhone+ from here.

  2. How does MyPhone+ sync my contacts with my Facebook friends?

    MyPhone+ compares your iPhone contacts names to your Facebook friends names. Comparison results are presented to you for review before actual sync begin. Results are devided into three sections: Matched, Conflicts and Unmatched.

    Matched - If a certain match is found for an iPhone contact, MyPhone+ adds the contact to the Matched section for you to review. A certain match is a Facebook friend with an identical name to the iPhone contact.

    Conflicts - If no certain match is found for an iPhone contact, but there is one or more possible matches, MyPhone+ will add the contact to the Conflicts section there you can select the matching Facebook friend out of the found possible matches. A possible match is a Facebook friends with similarity in it's name to the iPhone contact. For example for the contact 'Tom', MyPhone+ might suggest all your Facebook friends with the first name 'Tom'. For the contact 'John Sbith' (spelling mistake), MyPhone+ might suggest your Facebook friend 'John Smith'.

    Unmatched - In all other cases where there are no Facebook friends with anough similarity in name for an iPhone contact, MyPhone+ will add the contact to the Unmatched section. It is recommended to review the Unmatched section because you can find there contacts will nicknames ('Dad', 'Mom', etc) or contacts with lots of spelling mistakes. You can then select manually for these contacts a matching Facebook friend.

  3. Will MyPhone+ overwrite my existing contact photos when syncing with Facebook?

    MyPhone+ is configured as default NOT to overwrite existing contact photos when syncing with Facebook. In order to change that default behavior select the Sync tab, select Sync Settings and change Overwrite Existing switch to ON. You can also set custom settings for individual contacts during the sync process.

  4. Some contact photos are not updated after syncing with Facebook. What can be the problem?

    There are two possible reasons for that. It could be because some of these friends privacy settings on Facebook. They can set their privacy settings easily on the Facebook website by going to Settings->Privacy Settings->Applications. The second reason is that MyPhone+ won't overwrite existing contact pictures unless you set Overwrite Existing in the Sync Settings screen to ON.

  5. Why MyPhone+ does not sync email addresses and phone numbers?

    The problem is that Facebook does not share this information (phone numbers / email addresses) of your Facebook friends with 3rd party applications using their Facebook Connect API - probably because of privacy considerations. All applications must use the Facebook Connect API to retrieve data from Facebook. Retrieving information in "other" ways violates the Facebook Terms of Use - It's illegal.

  6. Can you please add recent calls log and voice mail support?

    As much as we want to include the features above, it is not possible with the current version of the iPhone SDK. Until Apple changes this, we are not allowed to add these features to MyPhone+. This limitation is for all iPhone apps on the App Store.


  7. How can I unsync a contact?

    In order unsync a contact select the Sync tab and tap on the Sync with Facebook from the menu. When MyPhone+ is ready to sync, go to the Matched section and tap on the contact you woul'd like to unsync. Tap on contact's matched Facebook friend to unselect it. The contact photo will now display a question mark indicating that the contact does not have a matching Facebook friend. Press Done to complete the synchronization.

  8. How can I set the size of photos synced with Facebook?

    In order to set the size of photos synced with Facebook select the Sync tab, tap on Sync Settings from the menu, tap on Size and select the desirable size: Fit To Call Screen or Full Screen. You must re-sync with Facebook in order to view results.

    Fit to Call Screen (Default) - Adjusts photo size to iPhone's screen size and preserves photo's original proportions so no parts of the photo are been cut off. Because this mode preserves photo's proportions you might see black strips on screen's edges depending on the proportions differences of the photo and iPhone's screen.

    Full Screen - Adjusts photo size to fill the full iPhone screen size. In this mode there are no black strips on screen edges, however photo's edges might be cut off depending on the proportions differences of the photo and iPhone's screen. This mode is less recommended because of the differences in most photos to iPhone's screen's proportions.
